Little Eastern Bird
Have found a new Company called The Little Yellow Company and this little bird image is just one of their images available to buy. I have coloured him blue for the Colour Create challenge of Blue & White. I can assure you the card is a very Turquoise Blue and White, but looks green in the photo. As it has lots of flowers on, I have also entered it on My Time to Craft for the Floral Frenzy Challenge

Blossoms & Butterflies
Recyled an old card front by sticking it to a card blank & adding a few extra embellishments for a birthday card for a friend. I then decided it was just right for the Cupcake Challenge no. 48 which is Blossoms and Butterflys

Cute Card Challenge
Just looked at the Crafts by Carolyn forum after a long absence, and found I was just in time to enter the Cute Card Challenge. So here is a little card made using an image received from a swop some time ago, and just got round to using it.

Back again at last after a long six week holiday in Australia. Now have a lot of catching up with cards to make. I started with this one following the sketch by Designer Claire Mackaness for the Charisma Thursday Challenge. This was made for some friends who moved house whilst I was away, so better late than never.

Family 50th Birthday Girl
Here is a card I've made with lots of help from Claire! It's designed around the Papertake Weekly Scetch and features Holly in the Garden from the Holly & Madison Collection. I painted the image with twinkling H2O's and Claire matted it up and applied the hot fix Rhine studs for me. I needed to make sure the lines were nice and straight as it is a special card for my sister-in-law in Australia, so I left the cutting to Claire as my eyesight isn't up to straight lines!....you might have noticed in some of my other makes LOL!
The great thing about crafting at Claires house/studio I should say, is I get to raid her stash whilst I'm there! I did provide the backing paper & the pink matting and gave her some new bits I had bought recently as a thankyou.

Back in Time
This weeks Dotties World, Lou asked to see a card we had made previously and repeat the layoutbut of course showing a Charmed Image. I was always pleased wityh my LOV Fairy card, so re-created it using Dottie this time. Just for taking part I can e-mail Louise and she will send me the new Holly in the USA image. Can't wait to get colouring

Summer is coming
This has been made for my 82 year old Aunt who loves cats. It hopefully fits Daring Cardmakers Friday Challenge of lots of Green - As it was intended as a Birthday card, could'nt make it a double dare this time. I used the Friday Sketchers 39 layout. I don't have anything to make an oval image, so I hope the round scalloped one will be acceptable.
Good Enough to Eat!!
I had made this to have a go at paper piecing & stitching, then found the Charisma Card Challenge which would have been ideal. Unfortunately I was unable to photograph the card before challenge ended today. But hey, the card is here now, so thought you may like to see it anyway. I have put it into this weeks Charisma challenge, with the hope it will get a notice. Hopefully I will be putting a more appropriate card on the site for this weeks Hugs and Cuddles.

Say it with Flowers
I have really cheated with this one & used a Forever Friends sticker which came with my latest PaperCraft Magazine. It is for the Arty Girlz (Tue) Challenge which was FLOWERS. I have added some little heart shape gems on the Tulips & although the photo is fuzzy, did add some glitter glue to the vase, so it looks more like glass.
Clarice Cliff - Latona Rose Pattern
Made this for my husband for our Wedding Anniversary using Tamara Sketch(Thurs) to fit the ABC (Wed) A- for Anniversary challenge. The Latona Rose stamps are in the style of Clarice Cliff & designed by my Daughter Claire (see her Blog http://clairemackaness.blogspot.com/)

* Lurve * From Dottie
Lots of Love from Dottie for this weeks Dotties World Challenge of *Lurve* Not the most romantic of cards, but one I will be able to use for a birthday, plus it fits the Colour Create Sunday Challenge as well. This was for a card in Peach & Aqua with an option to use DIY Flowers. With poetic licence & stretching the imagination perhaps my buttons with ribbon look a bit like flowers!!

Dreaming of Love
Another 2 for 1 card. Penny Black Romance - no words but hearts. I am sure this little chap is dreaming of Romance. Card is made using the Saturday Sketch challenge

Cute Valentine
Being really cheeky and some might say lazy. However I started off making this card for the Penny Black challenge, then thought it would be OK for Our Creative Corner (2 x hearts or more) also, Papertake challenge (hearts or flowers or both) and last but not least, sort of fits Arty Girlz Red and White. There are two hearts on the card, the one the puppy is holding & the flower centre is a tiny red heart. Sorry for a rather fuzzy photo.

Say Thank You with Flowers
I was shown how to make a card with the hanging Flower by my Daughter, Artyfartymack. I then thought by adding the Thank You sentiment, it would be suitable to enter into the Dutch Dare Challenge. Such a simple card to make but looks difficult, it is a style I shall no doubt use again.

Lady in Red
Decided to use parts of the Tamara Sketch and combine with Daring Cardmakers. Not really any need for Valentines cards, so it was good to be able to use my little red heart button on this card. Amazed to see that one of my cards has been featured on the Tamara site from 15th Jan. Her sketches are great as they are usually quite simple - Ideal for me.

Girls' Night Out
May need a Hen Night Card in the future so thought the Penny Black Saturday Challenge could be fun - Lets Get Dotty

Two Little Love Birds
I enjoy attempting the various challenges, but as I only need cards for my friends and family, it is not cost effective to make a card for every challenge, so I try to combine one card for more than one challenge. This little card has been made to the Tamara Thursday Sketch and fits well with Dutch Dare use of colours Green - Blue and Brown

Dotties World Challenge - Pure & Simple
Pure and Simple
I needed to make a card for a gardening friend, so Dotties World Keep it simple Challenge was perfect. I have put buttons & garden raffia into the centres of the flowers.

Claires 30th Birthday Card
I made this card for my daughters 30th birthday as we were skiing for the occasion and I used this sweet little skier stamp which I found on e-bay. I coloured this with my new Prisma pencils which Claire had bought me for Christmas so I am entering it in the Cute card Thursday Challenge to use something you got for Christmas, as well as the Charisma Card Challenge to make something pink.
